These industrial style mineral insulated thermocouple sensors are supplied with a standard (KNE) head and fixed ½” BSPP process connection for mounting directly into a thermowell or vessel.
Industrial MI thermocouples can be used at temperatures between -200 and 1000C, making them ideal for demanding applications.
The sensor is manufactured using class 1 mineral insulated thermocouple cable with a 310 stainless steel sheath, the sheath is semi flexible and can be bent or formed into place (bend radius is 3 times the diameter).
All probes are supplied with an un-grounded (insulated) junction, this construction reduces any electrical interference and provides a stable reading in the application.
The KNE head is weather proof and IP68 rated, the gland connection is M20.
